Dynex Technologies manufactures Automated ELISA Instruments in Chantilly, VA, USA for the Clinical, Veterinary, Industrial, Forensic, Food Safety and Quality testing. The DSX is a high throughput, 4 plate, open system and the DS2 is a moderate to low throughput, open, 2 plate system available worldwide through Dynex Technologies, Inc distribution partners, and OEM partners. Both systems feature modularity for ease of service and there are approxiamately 2, 500 DSX&＃039;s installed globally. DSX was introiduced in 2001. The DS2 is a small footprint, modular system introduced in 2007, and there are approximately 550 installed globally. Both Products are considered work horses in the clinical laboratory and feature integrated 96 well microplate reader, washer, incubator. Sample and reagent pipetting are accomplished with the use of an articulated robotic arm and disposable pipet tips to eliminate crossover and cross contamination.
