Company Description

Ecopole AS is a NorEcopolegian company manufacturing composite poles for electrification and telecommunication installations. The company has a production unit in Kenya and is planning to build factories in West Africa. The poles we produce are composite poles that last longer than any other poles. They are made of polyethylene HDPE with bamboo fibers inside keeping the the pole compact and free of air. The poles are certified by Senelec of Senegal, KPLC of Kenya and EDG of Guinéa. Compared with wooden, concrete or metal poles, the Ecopole poles have the following advantages: • Lighter in weight • Easier and cheaper to transport • Easier and cheaper to install • Need no foundation • Resistant to termites • Resistant to water • Resistant to uv • Resistant to bush fire • Resistant to corrosion • Resistant to strong winds • Resistant to salted water • Resistant to salted sand • Last longer ( more than 50 years) • Need no maintenance • Tolerate fall from at least 3 meters height with no damage • Use the same accessories, tools and fittings as for wooden poles.
