Company Description

Egitalia import & export LTD is one of the Egypt's largest agricultural companies growing, processing and selling fresh fruit and vegetable for export. As Egitaliall as having four farms growing our products, We also have contracts with 8 other farms to give us further production capacity. We have a central storage unit with a capacity of 500 tons and a processing plant covering 5.000 square meters on the Ismalia-Suez  road. Quality is the most important consideration for Egitalia import & export LTD. We have an inspection department for checking all  the raw materials that go towards growing and processing our products including the fertiliser and pesticides the farms use. All of our workers are trained in food hygiene best practices and the most hygienic food processing plant in the country.
All of our products are locally grown, Egitalia does not import any row materials. From the farms, the products are transported in trucks to the processing plant where they are sorted for size and quality. They are then cleaned and washed by the most up-to-date machinery and then go for further processing. Some of the vegetable go through a freezing process and are packaged and put into thermostatically-controlled cold store rooms. The fruit and the other vegetables are packaged and put into cold rooms temporarily until they are sent out.
Egitalia produces a total of about 60.000 tons of fruit and vegetable a year. About 35.000 tons is exported to the European market. Large quantities of our products are sold in wholesale markets.
Our products ten kinds of fresh fruit ( orange, lemon, mango, tangerine, mandarin, watermelon, muskmelon, cantaloupe, sweet melon, peach, lemon, fig, prickly pear )
And fifteen kinds of fresh vegetables (beans, potatoes, tomato, onion, green onion, garlic, pepper, eggplant, peas, cucumber, zucchini, cabbage, grapes, carrots,).our products taste the best because we have the best standards of quality.
