Company Description

El Espartano was established in Buenos Aires in 1942. Following El Espartano family tradition we began to produce hand-made carpets, hand-knotted carpets. In 1960, after acquiring several Wilton looms and developing our spinning plant and dyeing equipment, we started manufacturing plain wool carpets. By 1968, we incorporated tufting machinery to produce both loop and cut pile carpets.
Today we are well known for the high quality of our carpets. From the beginning, our motto has been excellence and improvement.
We manufacture carpets with the finest raw materials, make use of the most advanced technology available and have expanded our industrial plant, which actually covers a total area of 15. 000 m2.
