Erajaya Tbk. was established in 2010 and is involved in the distribution and retail business of selling telecommunication devices such as handsets, SIM cards, prepaid top-up vouchers, accessories, computers and other electronic gadgets.

Through the strength of its extensive nationwide distribution network, Erajaya Group offers an established platform for mobile device manufacturers and mobile network operators to distribute products in Indonesia. This advantage has led the Erajaya Group to become the market-leading mobile telecommunication product distributor in Indonesia, with a market share of 32% in 2012, according to a study by Frost and Sullivan.

As of June 2013, Erajaya Group operates 88 distribution centers and 423 retail outlets in 17 provinces throughout Indonesia, and has also established partnerships with around 18,000 third-party resellers. As of June 2013, Erajaya became a strategic partner for 13 top brands: Acer, Apple, Asus, BlackBerry, Dell, HTC, Huawei, Lenovo, LG, Motorola, Nokia, Samsung and Sony. In addition, Erajaya Group also boasts its own brand, Venera. Erajaya has also formed strategic partnerships with mobile network operators Axis, Esia, Indosat, Telkomsel and XL to distribute their products.

Erajaya?s dominant market presence is strongly linked to its distribution and retail strategy. Starting 2011, Erajaya Group strengthened its retail presence with the opening of One Stop Shopping Outlet. Erajaya Group now operates Eight Erafone Megastore outlets.

Apart from this, Erajaya Group has also rolled out OS-based retail outlets. Working with US technology giant Google, Erajaya Group launched AndroidNation, retail outlets specializing in the Android operating system and the first of its kind in the world. The first outlet opened in July 2012 and there are currently four AndroidNation outlets as of first semester 2013.
