Escarcom S.A. was founded and started its operations in 2009. The company though, enjoys a professional experience of more than forty years within the food processing industry, as a heritage by its mother companies that constantly operated in the same industrial fields from 1968 up until 2009. It is located in Sevastiana Skydra's (Pella prefecture, Greece).

Escarcom S.A. owns two separate production plants. The one is devoted to the processing of snails and the other operates in the field of frozen fruits and vegetables. Among its possessions is also included a separate storage and freezing facility of a total capacity of more than 38.000 s.m.. The workforce of the company reaches seasonally up to 400 employees (including permanent and part time personnel).

The list of the Escarcom S.A.'s products comes from the production operations of its two separate production facilities. It includes buttered snails ('a la BEscarcom S.A.guignonne') in a variety of packaging, snail cans and snail shells, in addition to frozen (IQF) fruit focusing mainly on peach and apricot cubes and halves as well as on pitted cherries. All products are exported for the most part in the Central European countries, in addition to elsewhere around the world.

The company's mission is to provide to its customers products of the finest quality and taste. In order to achieve this goal, it sources the best possible raw materials. The snails are imported alive and fresh, from the broaden area of Eastern Europe and the Baltic countries. The fruits are collected fresh, directly from harvesting, from the farmers of the prefecture of Pella, one of the richest peach production areas worldwide. The company also promises to continue delivering the highest possible consistency, credibility, and food safety standards for its customers, as well as to retain its attitude of constantly operating in favor of its social environment and employees.
