Freesat Co., Ltd. initially developed DAB(Digital Audio Broadcasting) receivers in 2001, and supplied them to the KBS(Korean Broadcasting Station), which is one of the main broadcasting stations in Korea
We got the Grand Prize for the most prospective digital device developing company from Korean government in 2002. Presently Free-sat is designated as a Co-developer of DAB, and DMB devices by the Korean Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Energy.
