Gajra Gears also has its own cutting tool and workholding manufacturing set-up. It makes hobs, shaper cutters, milling cutters and other gears cutting tools. The company is able to leverage this capability to quickly develop parts at short lead times. The company supplies to major OEMs in India, North America and the European Union. In addition, it also manufactures aftermarket parts for Fuller, ZF, Mercedes, Ford, GM, Chrysler, Dana, Tata, Leyland, Hino, Fuso, Mitsubishi, Toyota, Mazda, Warner, Getrag, New Process, New Venture, Meritor, Eaton and various other major applications. At present exports account for 50% of sales with majority coming from the United States and European Union.
