GDG Schuette GmbH & Co. KG is a subsidiary of Joh. Gottfr. Schuette GmbH & Co. KG which was founded in 1792, a family enterprise now held by the seventh generation.

The Gewuerze und Drogen Gesellschaft (GDG) founded in 1993 is pursuing one of the eldest business sectors, the trade with herbs, medicinal plants and spices. Today our main focus is on the acquisition and processing of raw materials for the tea, herbal and pharmaceutical industries. Product development and quality assurance play a significant role.

The ongoing improvement of the products we deal with is our target. It goes without saying that our entrepreneurial objectives are customised to the wishes and needs of our business partners. To achieve these objectives we seek a particularly close contact to our customers to allow us to familiarize ourselves with their needs. The decisive factor for our success is our staff and the particular attention paid to the further education and motivation of all.

A trusting and long-term relation to our suppliers is decisive to be able to take suitable steps as early as possible in connection with quality assurance. By integrating our suppliers in this quality assurance system we can guarantee that our customers in Germany, Europe and globally receive the best qualities and assured supplies. It is not only the products that are important for us, but particularly the people backing them.

In the sector of environmental responsibility we advocate operating ecologically and accommodate the latter by waste separation and waste avoidance. The promotion of environmental conservation measures is a concern we take for granted and which we consider when we select our suppliers.

Irrespective of these steps into the future, the prerequisite for the success of our enterprise has not changed for over two centuries:

Our products and services:

--> Herbs and Fruit Teas
We offer over 500 own recipes, develop individual new tea blends or can produce blends to meet your expectations.

--> Fine cuts for tea bags
We supply mono-products such as "Rosehip teabag cut" or tea blends such as "Rosehip/Hibiscus teabag cut". In addition diverse flavoured or natural herbal and fruit fruit infusions based on your or our own recipes can be offered.

--> Medicinal herbs/ Senna
We offer an interesting range of various medicinal plants with a particular focus on Senna pods/ leaves from India & Sudan in all qualities and types of production.

--> Raw materials for the tea processing industry
Our product range offers all you need for your own production.
From Anise seeds all the way to Zedoary root cut.

--> Spices an Culinary Herbs
We supply a wide selection of spices. Our main focus is on Curry (mild to spicy), culinary herbs from Turkey and Egypt and individual herb blends based on your specifications.

--> Organic products
Our projects are focussed on Egypt, Chile, South Africa and Turkey.
Several items are NOP certified.

--> Packaging/ KG-range
We offer a 1KG- bag selection of teas in the high-quality sector.
The tea blends are packed in tubular plastic bags and further in paper cartons.
1x carton = 20kgs (20 x 1KG tea blend)
This packaging method offers a continuous freshness of the tea blends.
Furthermore it is possible to pack teas for you in the range of 50-250grams/ per bag.
