General Machinery Plant of Shengli Petroleum Administration was founded in 1964. With a history of more than 40 years, the plant has been developed into one of the biggest petroleum machinery manufacturers of SINOPEC. The plant lies in Dongying City, the Yellow River Delta, an area in the northeast of Shandong Province with favorable geographical situation, developed transportation and communication. Its leading products (tubing and coupling, subsurface sucker rod pump, wellhead and Christmas tree, pumping unit) got ISO 9001 certificate in October 1996. The plant was authorized to use API monograms on its leading products.
