GLAZIA Co., Ltd. is located in Kochi Prefecture, Japan. Here, we have access to Japans finest locally-produced, organic and hand-made products. Kochi is one of Japans most rural prefectures, a place strong in traditional culture, craftsmanship and the unique spirit of Japan Perhaps Coral products! . In the east, we have vast citrus orchards nestled into the mountains; in the west, we have perfect weather for growing the worlds best rice; along our shores, we have abundant fisheries, and the worlds finest precious coral. Kochi is a place where many of Japans greatest traditions live on in everyday life.
At the same time, Kochi is home to the worlds first, cutting-edge deep sea water spa, a brand new museum showcasing Kaiyodos history, and a number of small factories producing traditional products with modern methods. Though rich in tradition, Kochi is also a land of innovation and entrepreneurship. New ideas mix with the old, so that all of the products we carry are a hybrid of traditional ideas made with modern methods.

The Moritokuzo Group has been active in business for over a hundred and fifty years. The first Mori Tokuzo was a humble cooper : a barrelmaker servicing the urban sprawl surrounding the castle of the local lord. Living and working in the shadow of Kochi Castle, Mori Tokuzo took advantage of Japans growing sense of capitalism and modernity as the nation entered into the Meiji Restoration of the late 1800s.
Weathering time and tribulation, the business that Mori Tokuzo founded at the end of Japans feudal era was carried by his children and grandchildren into the 20th century! In 1974, Moritokuo Group built the Bellepoch Building. At nine stories tall, it was the tallest building in all of Kochi Prefecture at the time. Though it has since been overtaken by high-rise apartments and hotels, it remains a prime piece of real estate in Kochis urban center. No longer sitting in the shadow of the castle, but rising comfortably above it, the Bellepoch Building is a lasting testament to the dreams of Mori Tokuzo!
Now, the Moritokuzo Group is split into two main companies: Bellepoch Co., Ltd., which handles the finances, real estate and consulting endeavors of the Group : and Glazia Co., Ltd., the import, export and business arm of the Group. Our Ali Baba site is run jointly by both Bellepoch and Glazia, so our customers often have dealings with both companies.
