Glucan Corporation specializes in ?-glucan products. ?-glucan is well-known to many health researchers as a very effective substance for human health. In addition, many compounds including ?-glucan are being currently used and developed for medicines, nutritional foods, and cosmetics.

Glucan Corporation has successfully developed the mass-fermentation process of Polycan having ?-glucan 1.3/1.6 as one of active ingredients from Aureobasidium pullulans. The developed process and production strain is in a patent pending.

Polycan, the highly functional polysaccharide having ?-glucan as one of active ingredients, has been proved for its functionalities such as immune system enhancer and osteoporosis suppression in many clinical demonstrations. Furthermore, the mass-fermentation process has been also proved for producing the stable quality of products.
