Company Description

GOTSA Oil Seals was founded in 1974 by Muammer Ba�ar, at present the honorary chairman of the company. Established at a small workshop in �amdibi, İzmir, the company prospered throughout the years at various venues. The company was constructed on a closed area of 4.000 m2 located in the Kemalpa�a Armutlu Organized Industrial Zone in İzmir, since july 2009. At this stage the institutionalization of the company took place and the company name was changed as GOTSA Automotive Products (GOTSA Otomotiv Mamulleri). ). Muammer Ba�ar was already familiar with the industry as he took his first steps toward establishing GOTSA. Previous to the founding of GOTSA, Muammer Ba�ar worked for a company in the same field, founded in 1955 and presently closed down, and during this period he specialized in the manufacture of rubber and sealing products. Later on Muammer Ba�ar started working at another company, one that was established in 1972 and still operates to this day. He served as a head man and as founder for the latter company. Lack of efficiency during the years 1972-1974 led him to leave the company and to create the GOTSA brand to meet the needs for better quality products at a loGOTSA AUTOMOTIVEr price. Aware of the fact that it took know-how to build enterprise, Muammer Ba�ar had proudly led the way for companies keen to join the sealing industry yet hesitant due to their lack of experience. GOTSA grew even stronger with a significantly increased level of customer satisfaction, and in the year 1997 started exporting to overseas markets like Algeria, Egypt, Tunisia, Syria, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Iran, America, and Romania. With its pursuit of technological development and it�s know-how in the field, GOTSA achieved ISO 9001:2000 certificate and aims at receiving ISO 16949 certificate. Our company manufactures with the GOTSA and Corttex brands, and by this enables product diversification and classification and continues to successfully market it�s products.
