The Distillery's commercial activity centres around the processing of wine and wine by-products (wine, grape marc, lees) for the creation of wine alcohol, wine distillate, both fresh and aged, and denatured alcohol (total annual production of approximately 15.000.000 L of alcohol of various types, and a distillation plant capacity of  150.000 Litres/day).  In addition, it is produced calcium tartrate, obtained from wine lees, which ultimately is the base in the production of Tartaric acid, as well as dried grape seeds useful in the oil Industry and for extracting new type of powerful anti-oxidant.
