In the 90s of last century, the company was one of the two major sectors in Nangui Elevator and Hoisting Machinery Company which under the management of Nangui Oversea Group. After years of development, the company has trained a large number of technical, marketing and management staffs, and accumulated solid experiences in the elevator industry. To accelerate its business development, in February 2002, the Nangui Elevator and Hoisting Machinery Company was changed from a state-owned company to a private stock-holding company by named Nanhai Winone Elevator Co., Ltd. and registered the trademark of "WINONE" In April 2004, due to the business development sales expansion over China, the company was renamed Guangdong Winone Elevator Co., Ltd. which resulted in a brand-name transition from the South China to the whole China and the world.
