This Project, GuestCom, has been created as a result of a vacuum discovered in the communication betGuestComen the waiters and the customers in restaurants. Any restaurant manager knows the importance of balancing good customer service with the lowest possible labor costs. Not enough staff or inefficient management can mean poor customer service. Too many staff means unnecessary loss of revenue. A lot of people made the decision not to return to a restaurant because of slow or bad service. How GuestCom II system works Each waiter wears a watch style pager that is connected wirelessly to a transmitter button(s) at each table in the restaurant. After the hostess seats the guests, a waiter greets the guests and describes for them how to use the table transmitter in order to call him/her for any service. When the guests press the button, the pager will alert/vibrate, and display the table number on its screen, so the guests will be serviced on time. The system also can provide communication between kitchen and waiters, where the kitchen will have a transmitter button(s) for each waiter in the restaurant; kitchen can alert waiters when the meals are ready. Applying this service will make sure that all customers will have their meals on time and hot.
