iBonus® Legacy system is a contactless smart card based loyalty and pre-paid offline system similar to the HK Octopus system. iBonus® Legacy system won Hong Kong Industrial award and has over 16 years of history and renowned customers/projects such as Octopus Reward, Octopus Station, US Army Canteens in Afghanistan & Iraq, voucher system for United Nation World Food Program. iBonus Limited based in the Hong Kong Science Park, the technology innovation center of Asia. Our history: In 2001, iBonus NFC based prepaid and loyalty system was introduced. In 2004, main contractor for Octopus Reward System. Octopus fare system is the world largest deployment with more than 30 million NFC cards issued. In 2007, similar to the e-voucher system was deployed for the US Army Canteens for US soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan where standard network is unavailable and also very harsh war environment. In 2010, main contractor for Octopus Refund Station. In 2014, e-voucher system pilot for UNWFP in Syria where standard network is unavailable and also very harsh war environment. 100,000 e-vouchers issued. In 2015, similar to the e-voucher system, a pilot prepaid system for National ID for Iran. 100,000 National ID issued. In 2016, tender for e-voucher system in Yemen where standard network is unavailable and also very harsh war environment.
