In the International market : It is $ 582.10 Dollars per tonne.

I am presently based in Republic of Benin, where my last assignment was.
Until recently, I was the Logistics/Commercial Manager for an aggro commodity company (Ben invest Sal.) in the Republic of Benin (West-Africa). The firm is involved in the commercial exportation of cashew, groundnut, soybeans, soya bean meal, cocoa, sorghum, sesame seeds etc.
I Made arrangements for export and import processes, liaise with suppliers, transporters as well as flying into northern part of the country (,Nigeria) to represent the company. Due to my job role, I gained exposure and was able to build a strong clientele of suppliers within the West African sub-region.
Part of Procurement Operations I carried out is listed below:
Oversee the purchasing of commodities. Assign buyers to commodities based on skill and knowledge base.
Negotiated a major contract agreement with an Suppliers and at Farm gate for the purchase of 285 MT of Sesame seeds.
Monitored the logistics Operation from Burkina Faso Source of Origin for the (Sesame Seed) to the port of exit TOGO , LOME PORT en-route XI GANG PORT.
Conducted physical inventory of Consignment before shipment at the port of Togo (West-Africa)
Ensure that all documents (Photo-sanitary Certificate, Certificate of Origin, Bill of Lading) were in order.
Guided process improvements for the Document Control Department, resulting in elimination of redundant activities and fueling more effective processes and procedures.
Representation of the company on Commercial Issues across the west Africa Sub region.
