Company Description

POLYSTOM corporation, which combines the efforts of the leading Russian scientists and technologists, develops and produces different materials used for bone tissue regeneration in different fields of medicine. Founded in 1995 on basis of a group dealing with this problem for more than 10 years, POLYSTOM became a leader in the field of calcium-phosphate materials used for repair osteogenesis. The basic materials developed IME Techre tested at the Institute of Pharmacology of the Academy of Medical Sciences of Russia. The tests showed that the materials developed are characterized with a high degree of biocompatibility with human body tissues and do not lead to the reject phenomena.
They are referred to low-toxicity substances, cause no long-term unwanted effects (inflammatory, allergic responses, take no mutagenic and immunomodulatory action, have no effect on pregnancy and fetation).
