Mobile broadcasting, standard of which is DMB, first began in South Korea and ever since, has spread to several countries in the world. We, INVIX, have been developing and supplying various types of mobile TV receivers capable of handling any broadcast standards including DMB, ISDB-T, DVB-H and ATSC-MH.


So far, we have successfully introduced T-DMB pocket TV in the Norwegian market and recorded No.1 in market share in the field of 1 seg. TV and car set top box in Brazil as a solution provider.
Also, we have been exporting several ISDB-T 1 seg. full seg. modules to Japanese market.


In the meantime, we are focusing on the market trend of U.S. ATSC-MH having finished the development of receivers.


On the contrary, there is a growing external threat in that smart phone business is expanding in the market of similar multimedia devices, and the number of country where mobile TV broadcasting is available, is limited so far.


As our product strategy to overcome the external threats, we are preparing several devices such as digital radio, car black box and wifi video sender and more. We expect the digital radio including 1 seg. and DAB radio, will replace the current AM/FM radio in the near future. The car black box market is booming in South Korea, so that will also expand to other countries soon. The wifi video sender has a very good potential in the niche market for customers having a multimedia device capable of receiving video contents through wifi.
