Joneja Bright Steels Pvt. Ltd. [JBSPL] is a privately owned, progressive and independent producer of bright bars and wires. It is situated near New Delhi in Faridabad in the state of Haryana, India. The company was formed in 1987 and occupies a little over 100, 000 sq. ft of factory space dedicated to the flow line of combined drawing machines, draw benches, wire drums, inverted blocks, peeling and grinding set up, as Joneja Bright Steelsll as pit furnaces and bell annealing furnaces. Since the inauguration of JBSPL there has been an ongoing commitment for investment in premises, plant and personnel to continuously improve our production capability and service to meet the high demands of our customers’. Investments in plant include the latest technology available in bright drawing with two Combined Drawing Machines for different size ranges, Inverted Blocks for Wires, Shot Blasting Machines. Off-line crack detection by means of Magnetic Particle Inspection and internal soundness by means of Ultrasonic Test. Over the years, JBSPL has grown to be the one stop shop for most requirements of General Engineering Wires, Spring Steel Wires, Wires for Spring washer and Circlips, Cold Heading Quality Wires, Profiles, Shaped Bars, Cold Drawn Bars, Ground Bars and Peeled Bars. Small lot large variety is one of the major strength at JBSPL. Three different plants are located at Faridabad and one based at Pune are dedicated for different products and customer base. All the plants of JBSPL are connected by WAN and the business processes are linked with ERP [branded NAVISION]. One server is dedicated for running the ERP while another is used for e-mails and internet. A laboratory, complete with test equipments calibrated to national standards are in place. A full range of mechanical testing facility is also in place. Adequate knowAdequate knowledge in metallurgy helps us in our process design as well customization of products for critical and unique applications. For value addition we do have two “Magnetic Particle Inspection equipment” which are used to detect surface and sub-surface defects in both longitudinal as well transverse orientations. We guarantee 100% surface defect free bars [on specific order]. For steel bars to be used for safety components, ultrasonic testing is also carried out on bars for confirming internal soundness [on specific order]. Regular plough back of profits into investment and development of manufacturing processes keeps it abreast with the newer methods and technologies helping offer its customers’ a better product and service. It is also adding newer test equipments as well adopting newer work practices to remain capable of catering to niche as well quality sensitive customers.
