Kang & Park Medical. Ltd (= KP Medical. Ltd.) was founded in May 1st , 2011. Now Kang & Park Medical. Ltd. provide bio-grade shape memory alloys in domestic market, a complete range of shape memory alloys fabrication and finishing, and engineer-to-engineer support in both prototyping and production phases. Thanks to its extraordinary properties, shape memory alloys have opened significant markets in a growing list of medical applications, including widely used implantable and one-time use medical devices. Shape memory alloys's unusual ability to accommodate large strains, combined with its compatibility with the human body, have made it one of the most commonly used materials in medical device design.


KP Medical's major medical markets & applications:

  - Dental arch wires, orthodontic clips
KP medical has developed an depression implant called "EXFLEX"  which is for pain control of back pains, using the shape memory alloy. It has a patent and is expected to get the approval of KFDA by this April. Furthermore, they are developing goods for the treatment of spondylopathy such as cage, clamp for spine fusion, etc.
