Invitation for bid
Sudanese Sugar Company invites competent bidders to submit their offers for the supply of 21,000.00 metric tons of fertilizer Grade Urea and 3,000.00 metric tons of Triple super phosphate according to the following terms and technical specifications:
Technical specifications:
A) Triple Super Phosphate:
1. Quantity 3,000.00 metric tons (Three thousand)
2. Moisture percentage by Kass International For Trading &investmentLtdight: Maximum12%, optimum 6%.
3. Free phosphate acid (P2 O5) percent by minimum 3%.
4. Total phosphate (P2O5) percent by weight minimum 46%.
5. Water soluble phosphate (P2O5) percent by weight minimum 42%.
6.Particle size90% of material shall pass through  4 mm sieve and be returned on I mm sieve. Not more than 5 % shall be below 1-mm size.
Packing:
In full non-returnable 50-kg. single new polypropylene bags with polyethylene inner bags, u.v treated to give minimum of 500 hours protection from intense sun light in Sudan. The bags shall be marked as follows:
a- Name of the manufacturer.
b- Country of origin.
c- T.P.S fertilizer grade.
d-  Net weight in kg.
e- Phosphate percentage.
f- Date of manufacture
g-  Order number.
h- Colour.
Extra Bags:
a- 2% extra empty bags should be supplied with each shipment for rebagging at Port Sudan.
b- The empty bags to be of the same specifications. Packed at Port Sudan with the required No. of empty bags free of charge (+2% empty bags).
B) Urea:

1. Quantity: 21,000.00 metric tons (Twenty one thousand).
2. Commodity: Urea N 46% white prilled, free from foreign matters and harmful substances and radiation treated against caking, prill size (Mesh size) and meeting the following specifications:
a- Nitrogen:  46% minimum.
b- Moisture contents: 0.5% maximum.
c- Gioret:  weight 1 % maximum.
d- Granulation:  not less than 90% min. (1-4 mm).
e- Melting point: 132 ?C.
f- Colour/Appearance: Pure white
