Behind the name KASTO Maschinenbau GmbH & Co. KG stands a owner-managed family business with headquarters in Achern, Baden. KASTO saws and storage systems are manufactured at two locations in Germany and are used worldwide. Branches exist in Switzerland, France, Japan and in the USA and agencies in more than 50 countries secure the proximity to KASTO Maschinenbau GmbH & Co. KG customers worldwide.

KASTO has approximately 640 employees in its two locations in Germany; about 10% of the entire work force are are apprentices. Total
sales of the company was 156 million Euro in 2008.

The saw portfolio of KASTO contains hack, band and circular saws from the simple machine shop saw to powerful production saws up to automatic high-performance saws for mass production. More than 130,000 installed saws mirror the satisfaction of our customers and the success of our products worldwide. Additionally, KASTO is the worldwide technology leader in bar storage and retrieval systems as well as sheet metal storage systems with more than 1,400 installed systems. - For all applications, in all sizes, and with integrated saws as well.

KASTO saws and storage systems can be found in all metal processing areas where availability, efficiency and long lifetime are needed: In steel and aluminum distribution, in machine and system manufacturing, in the processing industry and in the automotive sector.
