KYUSHU MEDICAL CO LTD, Kyushu Medical Co. Ltd., was founded in 1987. It runs the business in pharmaceutical and bioindustrial fields consisting of eight dispensing pharmacies at present. While the interest in food safety was growing among the peoples, we started our bioindustrial business focusing on biological control so that we could provide consumers with agriculture and aquaculture products that did not depend on antibacterial agents or pesticides. Since then, we have been exploring microorganisms which are useful for human life from natural environments, mainly from marine environment. Until now, we have gotten more than 4,000 strains and could find various prominent functions which those microorganisms had. We are making our best efforts to develop safe and secured microorganisms which can contribute to the healthy and ecofriendly living and many customers are using our products for various applications. We have been chosen one of the 100 technologies that can create the conditions for our sustainable future in The 2005 World Exposition, Aichi, Japan. We earned Global 100 Eco-Tech Awards that recognized and praised our eco-friendly bioindustrial technologies.
