HistoryLamerd Cement Plant is the largest cementproducing factory in Fars province and one of the greatest cementproducing units that is located 380km far from the capital of theprovince, in Lamerd city. The construction of this great project inLamerd deprived area began in 2005through investments by theprivate sector. In 2012 after the construction, installation,pre-commissioning and connection to the natural gas pipeline withnominal production capacity of 3800 ton clinker per day. Taking theadvantage of the world’s most updated technologies as lamerdcementcoll as thelast international standards and ISOs, this company is consideredto be one of the largest industrial units that has been able,through accurate planning and appropriate policies, not only toproduce 1200000 ton per year which is more than its capacity butalso have an active presence in order to take steps for improvingits products. This factory is one of the few cement plants in thesouth of Iran that has supplied its technology and production linemachinery from the most reliable European companies and producerssuch as FLS midth, TKF, Ammund, VentiOelde, Haver & Boecker, and Pfeifer.The existence of three rich, desirable and highquality Aluvium, lime andMaren Mines near this factory has made itpossible for the factory to produce cement of different types. Inorder to produce high quality and homogenous products, this factoryis equipped with Analyzer and XRF systems as well as QCX integratedcontrol system made by FLSmidthCompany which is unique in its type. Construction of this factorycause to 570 jobs directly &more than 2000 jobs indirectly,which is effective for development of area.
