Le Stage MineralsLe Stage Mineral is the product of much work, commitment and seriousness from its beginning. Being one of greatest extractor of Agates and the greatest one of Amethysts in Uruguay. We extract at the moment but of 60% of the stone production amethysts in artigas (Uruguay) and also it has been transformed into one of the greater extractors of agatas (20 containers to the month). Nowadays the company only operates 179 hectares, of the 1146 hectares with good stone concentration, in its possession. Also one has 22,920 hectares in study, to define the problables quarries. Company employers: In the mine of Mojarra (place "La bolsa") exist 42 employers working daily in the extraction of agatas, in his clasificiacion and packing; and 11 more in the Amethyst extraction. In the quarry "Santino" are 46 employers working in the amethyst extraction in the modality of galeria (tuneles). The company counts on 2 trucks and 3 light trucks for the transport of the production and personnel to city. In the factories there are a total of 42 people working 5 groups with different specializations, adding, in the processes of carved, cut, prepared and polished of amethysts. The administration is made by 3 directors, 4 administratives, an accountant, a notary public and a lawyer.
