Lotus Surgicals Pvt Ltd is headquartered in Mumbai and has an ultra modern 60,000 square feet (5,574 square metres) facility in Dehradun, India which is at par with the best of the Medical Device manufacturing facilities in the world. The infrastructure complies with the specifications, testing and validation norms of International Regulatory Agencies, such as ISO, WHO, USFDA and EU. The entire manufacturing area is designed to meet Class 10,000 cleanliness standard of US FED 209E, which no other manufacturer in India has ever dared to construct. LOTUS SURGICALS PRIVATE LIMITED also have state of art packaging machines which was designed by DuPont which can automatically seal the sutures, pack and print online reducing the possibility of human error.

Apart from facility and equipment we have chosen to select only the highest quality raw material components (suture, needles, mesh, etc) from the world market for use in the manufacture of the products. Needles, suture materials and packing materials are imported from USA,FRANCE,JAPAN AND GERMANY and the same is assembled in a world class state of art facility in Indiia. In addition we have developed user-friendly packaging in consultation with DuPont, clearly identified to minimize the opportunity for error while maintaining sterility and product stability. This also helps the end users to easily retrieve the sutures from the packet while performing surgery.
The Quality Management System (QMS) is developed to provide assurance that all systems are designed and implemented as per the standard norms which helps our facility and systems qualify major certifications like ISO,WHO GMP, EU.

It is our pride to mention that our sutures are used in certain SUPRA MAJOR SURGERIES like Liver Transplant Surgeries (where 206 different codes of sutures are utilized starting from size 1 to 8-0 in all varieties ), Cardio Thoracic Surgeries (Like CABG,Pediatric Cardiac Surgery , Valve Replacement) and Pancreatic surgeries. . These sutures are used by premium institutes and hospitals in India like Narayana Hrudayalaya etc where they use only imported sutures . We sell our sutures to such hospitals competing with the top three manufacturers in the world. The product quality is really worth comparing with Ethicon, Braun or Tyco and so the prices are economic compared to these three players where the quality is par with them.
