Introduction

M-Tech, Magnetics Technology Corporation in short, is one of new leading suppliers of international magnetic powder core market, which was founded by J.K.Lee who had established the old Mahan Magnetics. Staffed with highly qualified engineers and equipped with modern research facilities, M-Tech succeeded in the development of the molybdenum permalloy powder cores (MPP cores), Silicon-lron powder cores, high flux and Sendust  powder cores, utilizing its powder metallurgy technologies accumulated over 15 years through its proprietary area and development.

From the purchase of raw material to the final test, all the cores are manufactured in accordance with strict quality control standards. This enables M-Tech to reduce variations in core quality assuring consistent and satisfactory performance of cores.

What is powder core ?
Magnetic powder cores have distributed air gap made from ferrous alloy powders for low loss at elevated frequencies. Small air gaps distributed evenly throughout the cores increase the amount of DC current that can pass through winding before core saturation occurs.
Powder cores are excellent as low loss inductors for SMPS, switching regulators, noise filters, etc.
