Life Cycle Assessments performed to compare the manufacturing efficiencies of Virgin Carbon Black vs. Tire-Derived Carbon demonstrated that TDC is associated with a significantly smaller environmental footprint than that of VCB. Results showed a reduction in greenhouse gas emissions and other pollutants, and a decrease in the consumption of energy and water.We have a state of the art laboratory and access to additional equipment threw through our relationship with Northwest Missouri State University&＃39;s Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CIE). The CIE community lab has additional equipment for our use including which includes but is not limited to a field emission scanning electron microscope (FE-SEM), gas chromatograph mass spectrometer (GC-MS), CHNS/O elemental analyzer, and inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometer (ICP/OES).
