Company Description

The Company commenced trading in 1989 using machinery designed and developed by one the partners, Carmody Specialist Engineering Pty. Ltd., who are the world industry leaders in the field of Disposable HeadMed-Con Pty. Ltd.ar, Surgical Facemask and Protective Shoe Cover manufacturing equipment.

Machinery was originally commissioned to manufacture these protective products for both Medical and Industrial applications.  Subsequently further machines have been purchased, and to further increase market penetration and to broaden the manufacturing product base, the Celflo Company was purchased in November 1998.  The equipment to manufacture Underpads and additional paper products was also installed at Shepparton.

Today Med-Con has eight State of the Art production machines at its facility in Shepparton, together with a small team of dedicated trained operator personnel to control and operate this sophisticated equipment.

Med-Con has been able to succeed in the face of cheap, low quality imports due to a commitment to ?Leading Edge Technology, Quality and Innovation, and Service?, this is shown in Med-Cons ability to export their products competitively world wide.  Med Con also distribute a wide range of High Quality disposable protective apparel for use within Medical and Industrial applications.
