Founded in 1988, METEOR SRL Italian company specialised in the research, development and manufacturing of AUTOMATIC IDENTIFICATION technology and DATA CAPTURE terminals. The company starts operating on the Italian market as distributor of barcode label printers and hand held laser scanner. In July 1999 a staff of engineers is established to develop portable data collection terminals both batch and wireless and the company becomes a MANUFACTURING company. Due to the increasing market demand and steady growth in business the company moves to a new plant in Venice. In 15 years, we have built an unquestioned leadership in thesector, thanks to the high quality of its products, their utmost versatility and careful design. We anticipate the market demands and satisfies the continuous development of customers need.
In order to promote its products and improve the quality of its service to all its customers, the company has developed a wide network of partners selected and qualified in order to offer services and solutions up to the highest level in the industry. We work in close collaboration with a worldwide network of sales partners. The registered facility is located nearby Venice and has additional sales and support sites in Florence, Milan and Rome (Italy) . The main location of Venice includes the administrative plant, the Project Development Team and the Technical Department which is present in each site to offer qualified hardware and software support.
