Company Description

Mety Darmali GmbH was founded in August 2008 in Augsburg to continue METY DARMALI GMBH business activities from Hong Kong and Singapore. The intention was to be closer to a key market in order to provide service and products for the European market.

The company comprises three levels of business activities, such as design, production service and business consultancy.
The design and manufacturing segment is in the fashion accessories field. The consultancy part is for general business affairs between European and South East Asian companies.

Handbags and general bags weight more then 80% of the design and manufacturing segment for fashion accessories.

Fashion accessories have three groups of which one, the Mety Darmali range, hand crafted and limited in our plant in Indonesia.
The second group is custom designed and manufactured bags and accessories for a TV sales channel near Munich. Our key advantage here is that we are near by, provide experienced first hand design and pattern advice and mostly are able to supply in small to medium order quantity.
The third group is a newly developed product made of real wood. This component has been developed in a joined effort between Mety Darmali GmbH and Furwa Furnierkanten GmbH. During the early phase of the financial crisis, both managing directors of the companies were contemplating on how to ease the order crunch. In January 2009 the idea was born to develop a durable, flexible but natural component for the bags industry. Not only was this idea a new concept for bags but also provides a high level of security based on the patens and copyrights, Furwa has for their technology to produce such materials. By earl 2013 Mety Darmali GmbH was able to deliver the first 850 bags to its partner Furwa for presentation and sales of these unique and revolutionary bags at their food industry related exhibitions in Europe. All were sold out within a few days.
