Milsan Agro Foods is Private Ltd. Company engagged in Oyster Mushroom Production having its Head office at Ahmedabad (India) and the plant in Idar (in the state of Gujarat) nearly 100 kms away from here.This is the only Oyster Musrhoom project in the state of Gujarat state and the biggest in the India. The project is located in 5 acres of area, having a total construted area of 50,000 sq.ft. and are installed with automatic air exchange unit alongwith humidifiers, as such the room tempreture is maintained at 24 degree centigrade through the year with 85% R.H. Each room has a capacity to incubate 2000 beds at a time.The spawn is prepared in the ultra modern lab with A/C and all hi-tech amenities and is located in the project premises itself & has a capacity to prepare 300 kgs spwan per day. The spawn is prepared from tissue culture.Cropping is done specailly prepared huts admeasuring about 20,000 sq.ft..Mushrooms are dried in ovens, having a capacity of drying 300 kgs. of fresh mushrooms at a time.The project has a flock of technical persons who are thorough in mushroom technology. The project is supervised by a highly experienced professionals..Oyster Mushroom strains viz. Pleurotus Sajor Caju & Pleurotus Florida are grown with equal ease. The quality is Superb. Milsan Agro Foods Pvt. Ltd. bio-effifiency is more than 100%. There is no deformity is the shape of Oyster. Pleurotus Sajor Caju is yellow colour on gills & gray on Pelius, & colour of Florida is both side creams. No insecticides or fungicides are sprayed on the mushroomat any point of times, as the beds are healthy with no contaminations by weed fungi. The mushroom is perfectly eco-friendly.Whole process of mushroom production, drying, & packing is done under strictly hygienic conditions.
