Company Description

Modern Cast is a  technocrat owned  Non Ferrous foundry cum machine shop supplying copper and Aluminium base alloy castings and components    using  Resin shell , Gravity die casting,  Sand Casting & CO2 processes. The company was established in 1986.The factory is situated at Madiwala, which is close to Bangalore city center and is easily accessible. Company is MODERN CASTll connected by telephone, fax & email facilities.Company caters to highly specialized requirement of non-ferrous castings needed by high tech end users.

Moulding  :
Resin Shell Moulding,  Gravity  Die Casting,
Investment Casting, Green Sand Moulding,   Co2   Sand  Moulding.

Equipment & Facilities:
The factory area consists of 4000sq. ft. (under expansion to  8000 sq.ft). Stores and office has an area 2000 sq. ft Production equipment consist of oil fired and coke fired furnaces, Sand processing equipment, machine shop, shell moulding machine, shell core shooter, etc.  Simple machining can be carried out within  the factory, while complex CNC machining can be undertaken with the help of subcontractors. Adequate fettling and  back up  genset  facilities are available.

Product :  Aluminium Alloy, Phosphor Bronze, Al-Bronze, Lead  Bronze, High Tensile Bronze (Mn-Bronze), Brass ,High conductivity copper, Phosphorised Copper Anodes, Nuggets, Tin Anodes Zinc Anodes, White  Metal Deposition (babbiting),Gun Metal .

- ISO 9001 : 2000 Certification complited on 28 Oct 2006 , - Investment Casting in Copper, Aluminium, high low & alloy steels can be taken.
- Production of high conductivity Copper alloy products made for ABB,35 Kgs Aluminium in Gravity Die casting is also taken up.

Future Plans: - Squeeze Casting of Aluminium  gives Radiography quality,replace pressure die casting of bigger size from 5 to 12 Kgs aluminium.
