Very soon, it occupied the slot of the largest manufacturer of carpet yarns in organized sector. In 1987, Modern Woollens diversified into the manufacturing of all wool and wool blended worsted yarn in India. In 1989, the company further diversified into the manufacturing of wool tops and also doubled the production capacity of all wool and wool blended worsted yarn in the year 2006. Marching ahead in the jModern Woollensney and keeping pace with overall industrial development in India, the Company now are one of the biggest manufacturers of wool and blended worsted yarn from India. Modern is a manufacturer of all types of wool and wool blended worsted yarn, duly shrinkage controlled, to customers, not only in India, but also in European and Middle East markets.
