JSC Mogilev Metallurgical Works is the only producer of chilled iron shot and chilled iron grit in the Republic of Belarus and one of the biggest suppliers of these products abroad.Chilled iron shot and grit is produced according to the State Standard 11964-81. Ballast shot is produced in concordance with Technical Conditions TY BY 700123720.010-2008.Usage: - shot-casting and shot-blasting cleaning of castings, rolled steel before and after heat treatment;- surface hardening of such parts as shafts, springs, cog-wheels etc.; - surface preparation for electroplating, enameling, painting;- granite sawing and granite block surface treatment.The shot is packed into Big Bags with the capacity of 1 000 kg and polythene bags 25 kg in each 40 bags which are placed on Euro pallet and covered with a shrinkable film;Technical characteristics.Chemical composition: C 2, 7-3, 2 %; Si 0, 8-1, 5 %; Mn 0, 3-0, 85 %. Hardness: 545¦830 HV (50-62 HRC). Density: 7 200 kg/m3.Chilled iron shot has different spheres: R 0.3; R 0.5; R 0.8, R 1.0 (R 39); R 1.4; R 1.8; R 2.2; R 2.8; R 3.2; R 3.6; R 5.0; R 6.0.Chilled iron grit: G 01, G 02, G 05, G 07, G 12, G 17, G 24, G 34, G 39, G 47, G 55, G 66, G 80.Mogilev Metallurgical Work can also produce chilled iron grit with special sowing.More than 80% of the manufactured products are exported to the countries of the near and far abroad: Germany, Poland, Netherlands, Denmark, Finland, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Russia, and Kazakhstan.
