It was founded by Mahmut Saim Karacali in 1958. Since 1962, it has started to produce machinery for brick and roof tile factories. In 1974, with the establishment of Ege Seramik Factory and so with the help of factory authorities it has changed direction to produce ceramic industry machines.
Beside ceramic sector, in conjunction with assuring smor maden insaat san ve ticce in different sectors for several domestic investor enterprises, it also has become pioneer for the success of exporter enterprises in abroad thanks to special design and products which it made. At present, it keeps serving to ceramic producers under the name of Karacali Machine Industry.
