(Apart from Textile the group is has also interests in fertilizer, sugar, media, cement, agro, food processing, engineering, etc.) Ne Win spinning unit is the 3rd (latest) & most modern spinning unit- BIRLA TEXTILE MILLS. The spinning unit is located in beautiful North Indian state of Himachal Pradesh whereas the Export Marketing office is in Mumbai. Capacity of 83, 300 spindles from that 100% Cotton spinning section (43, 000 spindles) started commercial production in end 2006. Synthetic spun yarn section (40, 300 spindles) started commercial production in May 2000. Producing around 1, 750 tons per month. The spinning unit is already ISO 9001:2008 certified. Looking our past export performance, the Government of India has given us Star Export House certification. Unit uses latest technology through most advanced machinery models sourced from reputed textile machinery manufactures. All single yarns produced at Birla Textile Mills are Autoconed & Twisted on TFO�s. The machinery includes bale opener from TRUMAC, Blow Room line from LAXMI RIETER, LC-300 Cards with chute feed and autoleveller from Laxmi Rieter, RSB 851 Draw frames with autoleveller from Laxmi Rieter, Speed frames-LF 1465 & Ring frames LR 6/S from Laxmi Rieter & Autoconers from SAVIO(Italy). Strict quality control methods are applied at every stage of production. All the test carried out on the most modern quality checking equipments like UT 4, TENSOSTAT, CLASSIFAULT , etc. Computerized colour Matching m/c is used for perfect shade matching. Continuous Research & Development is being done so as to match Customer requirements in given time frame. 100% Cotton raw white yarn - Ne 24s & 30s Combed for Hosiery. - Ne 24s/2 & 30s/2 Combed & Carded for Hosiery & weaving
