Ever since its foundation in 1986, "NEWSTAR CO.LTD,." which manufactures and exports optical frames mainly to North America and Europe under an original equipment manufacturing(OEM) has been striving to create high value added through constant efforts for an improvement in technique and quality and given impetus to exporting optical frames.

Since awarded "Small & Medium Industry Promotion Cooperation." NEWSTAR continued to grow and received an honor to be awarded "Ten Million Export ToNew Star Optical Co., Ltd.r Prize", "Certificate of Venture" and "Certificate of Superior Technology Company" and on the 39th Trade Day NEWSTAR has an honor to receive "The Order of industrial Merit".

Korean frame industry has been gradually faced with the situation that it lose its competitiveness to developed countries and China regarding design and price respectively. But we this forecasted and have prepared to overcome this situation for a long time. To overcome this difficulty, we designed and introduced our own brand "SEESUN" in the first DIOPS(Daegu International Optical Show) on November 2001 based on our technology which is accumulated for 17 years.
SEESUN is designed by the cooperation of professional designers from Korea, Italy and Japan teamed up with experienced technicians we introduced SEESUN at DIOPS in the year of 2001 and 2002 and suggested a new paradigm to Korean optical fashion industry and we have been enjoying a good reputation.

SEESUN frames and sunglasses can be found at famous optical shops throughout the nation and the recognition of brand SEESUN is growing by advertisement such as commercials on radio and fashion magazine. We are aiming at growing up to the best brand especially in Asia market with the products particularly designed and developed for a perfect fit of oriental people. We are currently preparing 2003 DIOPS for the brand SEESUN advance into South-East Asia market.
