NGVs are the cleanest, most environmentally friendly vehicles. The exhaust emissions from a typical NGV are significantly loNGV International Inc.r than those from gasoline-powered vehicles. Dedicated NGVs produce little to no evaporative emissions during fueling and operation. The carbon dioxide (CO2) levels are almost 25 percent below those of gasoline vehicles. NGVs only produce one-sixth of the NOx of comparable diesel engines. Natural gas vehicles reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 20-29 percent, compared to diesel and asoline fueled vehicles respectively. Use of NGVs is the most effective method to prevent further effects of global warming.

The main principal ingredient of natural gas is CH4. Bio-methane is produced from municipal waste, animal manure, organic wastewater, sewage, etc. While NGVs do emit methane, another principal greenhouse gas, any increase in methane emissions is more than offset by a substantial reduction in CO2 emissions compared to other fuels. Natural gas is the most practical alternative energy that we can develop with the methane hydrate deposit at the bottom of the ocean near Dokdo.
