Apart from this the group is also engaged in retailing and construction activities. NILKAMAL LIMITED group turnover for the year 2010 was in excess of US$ 200 million.

Nilkamal is the largest manufacturer of Plastic molded Furnitures producing in India with an installed capacity of 10 million Chairs a day while currently producing 9.7 million chairs a day. We are not just the largest manufacturer in terms of volume but we offer the widest range of Furniture offered by any other manufacturer in India. Nilkamal commands a market share of 36% in the domestic market while internationally we cater to more than 30 countries worldwide.

For molded furniture division we have seven manufacturing units spread across all regions that are at north, south, east & west of India. We process nearly 40,000 metric tons of polymers in a year and also have joint ventures with established manufacturing facilities both in Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. All our manufacturing facilities in India are ISO 9000 & ISO 14000 certified from TUV Germany.

We have the largest range of molded furniture in India which includes a wide range of chairs, designer hybrid chairs, dining tables, center tables, stools, trolleys, multipurpose racks, planters, storage solutions (cabinets & cupboards), sofas, etc.

At Nilkamal, employees are our biggest strength and we therefore depend on a staff of over 3000 employees, their skills, intelligence & experience that they bring to produce the 10 million chairs per day. We roll out a new model every month. With new developments in process we strive to achieve the best however this is just the beginning.
