Ningxia Baota Activated Carbon Co., Ltd. is a subsidiary invested by Baota Petrochemical Group, located 13 km north of Yinchuan railway station, covering an area of 350 mu (about 23.3 hectares).The Company, which has an annual output of 12,000 tons of activated carbon, and fixed assets of 80 million Yuan, is a backbone carbon enterprise in Ningxia, and is also one of the large domestic manufacturers of activated carbon in China. It possesses 10 carbonizing lines (including 2 automatic production lines), with an annual output of carbonized material of 20,000 tons. With 4 BT/480 Type and 4 BT/336 Type activation furnaces, and crushing-screening processing and post-processing production lines it can annually produce 3,000 tons of acid charcoal and impregnated charcoal. The company uses the famous Taixi anthracite and high-quality non-caking coal produced in Lingwu, Ningxia as raw material , and adopts two processing techniques (the traditional technique and direct activation process). There are more than 60 varieties of products, widely used in deep purification of drinking water, industrial wastewater, sewage treatment, air purification, solvent recovery, catalyst carrier, flue gas desulfurization, chemical protection, etc. The technique of "direct activated non-pressed Taixi coal particles" is of top level in China. The product has the characteristics of highly developed capillary system, large specific surface area, large piled weight, high strength, high recycling rates and no loose ash.
