“NIWKA” S.A. Mining Machine Factory was set up over 180 yearsago. Its establishment and development NIWKA S.A. Mining Machine Factoryreclosely associated with the expansion of themining industry in the Silesia and Zagłębie regions, andthe scope of services and the production rangewere adjusted to the needs of local minesand technological advancements in the mining industry.At present, M.M.F. “NIWKA” S.A. supplies the mining industrywith: loading machines including shaft loaders, front-end drift loaders, continuous track side-dump loaders and floor-dedicated loaders (electro-hydraulically powered); mine transport systems including electrically poweredwinches (with a power output from 15 to 30 kW), electro-hydraulically powered winches for mine transport oninclinations up to 45° and cable drum winches; winches for cable-based surface transport (car handling); machines for continuous haulage including light scraper conveyors in several variants; hydraulic motors (cylinders); spare parts for machines manufactured in the factory. In addition to the general offer of mining machines and equipmentpresented above, the factory also manufactures machines andequipment per individual order in accordance with customers’specifications.
