NutriBotanica was founded in 1998 and is located in the northeast of Brazil, in the State of Ceara. Situated on 1660 hectares NutriBotanica was one of the first farms in the region to be awarded organic certification and continues to be the world s largest groNutriBotanicar of Organic Acerola. A state of the art processing facility was added to the farm in 2001 enabling NutriBotanica to offer Single Strength Juices, Concentrated Juices, and Fruit Powders. This level of vertical integration allows NutriBotanica control every step of the process and assures a level of traceability, quality assurance and food safety that our customers expect.

The Farm

At NutriBotanica, the different elements that compose the landscape e.g. pastures, orchards, crops, herbs and animals, as well as forests and meadows, are integrated in correct proportion as to allow mutual support and synergy, so that they each operate as organs within a unified living farm organism . Through animal husbandry, the farm produces part of the necessary ingredient for the revitalization of its soils. With the aid of herb preparations that guide fermentation through subtle homeopathic effects, specialty fermented compost teas are created and applied to protect the plants from pests and disease. In turn, the crops supply the animals with grass and secondary products such as fibers, herbs and recycled fruit to support their dietary needs. Over 250,000 trees have been planted to act as windbreaks and an area of refuge to birds, insects and small mammals. Crop health and fruit quality are achieved without harming the environment by creating and sustaining a true biological balance. We can also assure our customers that no fertilizers or pesticides enter the composition of any of our organic certified products.
