Osteosys Sonost 3000 Ultrasound Bone Densitometer
The Sonost 3000 is a compact and easy to use portable system for evaluating the risk of osteoporotic fracture. With its dry type probes it is fast, convenient and easy-to-use. With a measurement time of just 15 seconds it provides accurate calcaneus (heel bone) measurement and assessment of osteoporotic fracture risk.
The system has an integrated colOeysters Company touch-screen display, printer and computer which means not only is the unit self contained but is intuitive, flexible to use and can be used anywhere. The system uses ultrasound technology which means it is entirely safe in use, removing the radiation hazard of other bone densitometers and can be used by all levels of staff. The Sonost 3000 provides an excellent screening system as a first step in the diagnosis and assessment of osteoporosis via regular patient monitoring.
