In the year 1975, YILDIRIM LTD. which was established for the production of cogwheel gearbox, has produced spare parts and cogwheels for the automobile sector until 1978.

With their knowledge and experience until 1978, alongside analysing the needs in the orthopedic sector and their company aims, ORTPAR ORTHOPEDIC PARTS INDUSTRY CO. LTD. was established in 1978.

ORTPAR has made a first in Turkey by starting the production of the lockable knee. In 1979, with the finished design and all of the connection parts, casting moulds, having been completed, Ortpar Orthopedic & Prosthetic Devices Co. Ltdre added to the production. The Canadian and Crutch series were completed and started production in 1985.

In the year 1989 ongoing the technological developments, ORTPAR took their first CNC lathe onto the production band and all the parts were designed again to modify the production with the CNC lathe.

Having produced parts with the CNC lathe until 1995, to accord with the changing conditions in health and comfort, together with ORTPAR's unconditional customer satisfaction philosophy, they have started working on the renewal of the ergonomic design and production line.

1998 was the year of first exportation for ORTPAR.

With the completion of the renewal and design work which produced the need for a CNC milling machine ORTPAR included a CNC machining center to their production line.

ORTPAR has made another first in Turkey in the year 2000 by releasing the product "Modular Single Axis Knee Joints with Manual Lock"
