PicoTurbine International is a Limited Liability Corporation based in Jersey City, New Jersey, founded in 1998. After only a few years in business, the company quickly became a PicoTurbinell known for providing Green Energy educational materials. As they grow, plans are to diversify & cover all types of Renewable Energy Education.

In 2008, Michael Burghoffer acquired PicoTurbine after working for the company since the beginning and quickly pushed the company into a leader of Renewable Energy Education Marketplace. Over the past few years, PicoTurbine has become a major contributor to the Green Energy Education global market and continues to grow at very fast pace. PicoTurbine has established partnerships with companies and schools worldwide.

In Fall 2010 PicoTurbine will launch its new After-School Program. Concentrating on 5th-8th graders they plan to develop programs for all grade levels. As their product line develops more programs will be offered. To begin there will be Wind 101 and Solar 101. Both are concentrating heavily on Green Energy, energy use, geography and communication skills.

PicoTurbine is planning to launch www.PicoTurbineEducation.com in the next 1-2 years with the help from many different educators. This will serve as a library for educators to easily obtain lesson and unit plans developed for all of the current and future product lines. Many educators have expressed their excitement for this new addition Together we believe we can help implement Green Energy programs into schools globably & create a greater awareness.
