Company Description

Premier-KAG's Enterprise was set as a light manufacturing and trading organisation in 2005. Premier-Kag's Enterprise have since grown to include the following in our business lines:
Manufacturing of liquid detergents;
Poultry Production involving ducks and geese (and hatching eggs);
Guinea fowls breeding, broilers, and Layers - for table egg production.

Our Enterprise has gained experience in these fields and is now able to supply whole dressed geese, ducks, broilers and guinea fowls on order.

Our present capacity keeps on growing and we expect to be able to increase our stocks of especially geese substantially by the end of 2012.

In February 2011, we started hatching Day-old keets (Guinea fowls) from our own farm, and we hope to expand this operation within the next few months. Our hatching capacity of Guinea Fowls has now grown to 1000 keets a month. We now have the capacity to produce up to 2000 matured guinea fowls every month. We started hatching commercial layers in November 2011. We are scheduled to start hatching goslings by the end of 2012

Interesting timelines in our project life:
2010 October : Acquired our own incubators
2011 February: Started hatching our own keets and commercial layers
2012 May: Acquired geese breeding stock
2012 August: Started an Incubator distribution agency in Ghana
2013 March: started hatching our embden and toulouse goslings

Our experience during the research period and post research period has enabled us to offer consultancy services to farmers in and around our area of operation. Sometimes consultation/advice is offered free of charge. We have realized over the period that there are many people who need advice but cannot afford to pay for it. We therefore consider it part of our responsibility to advice and offer free training to these farmers who need our services. Our major objective is to ensure that we can produce enough quality poultry for consumption at the lowest possible cost. In our opinion, low priced meat can be afforded by many more consumers. Offering free consultancy services also contributes greatly to achieve this goal, as they effectively reduce the operational costs of these farmers in the area.
