Not many makers can keep that such pattern of layers upon layers flowing all the way to the edge of the blade which creates a saw blade effect at microscopic level, allowing the blade to keep cutting while other blades have dulled. RDK hand forged the blades with 1095 and 15N20 high carbon steels forged in a gorgeous pattern. we give excellent heat treatment and Rockwell hardness to all blades. we shaped handles very nicely for a comfortable grip with beautiful art work for life time durability.Quality Standards Our Damascus blades are made from high quality non-stainless steels which rival or exceed any Damascus blade made from the 10 series with 4340. Our Damascus combination has taken years to perfect and has been tested under a variety of application which will offer professional performance in categories of toughness, strength (lateral stress) and edge honing and holding ability.
